The great Barcelona Beach Festival (BBF), a EDM-star´s party celebrated there in Platja del Fòrum (Barcelona), for the third year, beats a new record of goers.
This time, I took the decission of attending suddenly and on the same day so the budget went a little bit up but the reward was totally meeting my expectatives, unfortunately, not dueing to the organisation, which was, as last year, a disaster, queuing up to hundreds of youngs and teens, having problems with the validation of the entrance and inside, so impossible to get a bottle of water. We must say, that probably like 30% more tickets as maximum expected were sold going from 50 to 70.000 people, nearly all kids.
Anyway, I love people, and music. My madness started with the great Nicky Romero and his mashups with Ready 2 rumble to Lighthouse mixed with Calvin Harris and Alesso, who was coming up later on that night.
David Guetta was much better this year than last, but was Alesso the one that totally engaged me, EDM with Hip House and mixed indie together with some tribal tints dressed the best sounds of the night.
Martin Garrix was extremely commercial and not giving that much and were Axwell & Ingrosso the ones to face back my down spirit and turn up to heaven with one of the best sets I have heard from them so far this year and all finishing with the great star Hardwell, who totally destroyed the last energies of the crowd that night.
Lovely to highlight, that artists were flattering ones to others as they were members of the same family, no competence but true friendship.
Simply enjoy it:
